Pyramids of Giza. During the next few weeks, I’ll be posting a photo from my recent trip to Egypt. Each photo represents a collection of photos from the same place. This one was taken from a taxi on my way back to Cairo from a visit to the pyramids. More photos from this place here:

Al Azhar Park is a well designed relaxing park overlooking Cairo. It has a lake, cafes, restaurants and lots of green grass to fall asleep on. Although women really aren’t supposed to lay down as my roommate Min found out when a guard shook his finger at her in disapproval. Other than that, it’s an inviting place where Cairenes are busy with their families and aren’t really interested in foreigners. A welcome respite from suspicious downtowners.
